Building and editing your website

Your site is generated from the answers you gave during onboarding. You can rebuild it, edit individual pages, or change the look at any time from My Website in the dashboard.

What the builder creates

• A homepage that names who you help and where, with your city in the page title.
• One page per service area you listed, with detail about the housing, streets, parks, and history, screened for fair housing language.
• Sellers and buyers pages written for your market and specialties.
• An about page from your bio, license, brokerage, and photo.
• A contact form that sends leads to your Leads dashboard.

Editing the copy

Open My Website, choose a page, and edit the text directly. If you change your service areas, specialties, or bio in the form, you can regenerate the affected pages. Regeneration produces a new draft; it does not publish until you approve it.

Changing the look

Choose a color theme (gold, navy, green, or purple) and upload your own headshot and photos. Real photos of homes you have listed and neighborhoods you work perform better than stock images, both with visitors and with Google.

A note on fair housing

Neighborhood copy describes places and things, never people. If you add your own text, keep it to the housing, the streets, the parks, the commute, and the history. Avoid describing who lives somewhere, and avoid school ratings as a stand in for that. Your brokerage will thank you.
